Description
The Formula 1 decade – 70s Tyrrell poster from the manufacturer Automobilist
The stars of the 1973 season were Jackie Stewart and his car, the Elf Tyrrell-Ford 006. Tyrrell, founded by Ken Tyrrell, started racing in 1958 and started building his own cars in 1970.
The team experienced its greatest success in the early 1970s when it won three drivers’ championships and one constructors’ championship with Jackie Stewart. Out of respect for the main sponsor, the fuel company Elf, the car was painted in French racing blue.
The print was created using Automobilist’s characteristic technique of digital 3D modelling to produce a computer-generated image of impressive quality.
