Description
The Ford GT40 – Dan Gurney – Red – 24h Le Mans – 1966 Poster of the manufacturer Automobilist
The Ford GT40 was designed in the 1960s specifically to beat Ferrari, or so they say – but its impact on motorsport was ultimately far greater than either company had expected.
In 1966, the Mk.II version of the car dominated the Le Mans 24 Hours with first, second and third places, and continued to win in the following three years. The red Ford GT40 poster shows the striking red Shelby-American Inc. GT40, which was driven by Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant in 1966.
To reflect the prestige of the GT40, only 1000 limited edition prints were produced on high-quality paper.
The prints were created using Automobilist’s signature 3D digital modeling technique to produce a computer-generated image of impressive quality.
